American General Mortgage Corporation is announcing the completion of the new Automated Underwriting system that will be available to all brokers. The system has been in development for the purpose of automatic loan submissions and pricing details for the brokers of American General Mortgage Corporation to take advantage.

The New System will allow brokers to:

  • Provide a detailed Pricing Engine.
  • Automated Underwriting of files.
  • Order credit reports online.
  • Access to guidelines and matrices.
  • Daily rate sheets and announcements
  • Download and complete required forms.
  • Upload files from existing loan origination systems.

The new online interface of American General Mortgage Corporation will give the brokers a new perspective of loan origination and processing. This new system will simplify and accelerate the mortgage process. The broker interface will give the broker the opportunity to upload files from existing LOS systems, obtain pricing and request prequalification from AGMC. As a wholesale lender AGMC possesses multiple programs in its database. The state of the art pricing engine will analyze the borrower’s credit history and income information and utilize the best fit program for the loan. The new online interface will revolutionize the entire mortgage process.

Mortgage processing

American General Mortgage Corporation holds all rights to the new automated underwriting and pricing engine. All loans submitted and approved through the new AU system are still subject to the final approval of AGMC underwriting and approval departments. All issues regarding approvals and loan scenarios will be evaluated by AGMC and AGMC will provide final approval of conditions and loans prior to documentation, and funding. All loans locked using the AU is subject to evaluation, approval and confirmation by the AGMC lock department.
